I have a 97 Toyota 4runner with the factory installed security system. The remote for the keyless entry needs re-programming, can anyone give me the instructions for this or point me to a site with this info?

Contact your local dealer, if you have any questions about programming.....Programming is quite simple, Most reputable dealerships will give you the info over the phone for free, but some BAD dealerships, may tell you it is expensive, or that you "HAVE TO" buy their remotes. Understand that is just an attempt to take advantage of a customer, and contact another dealership.
