First off.  Installer did a crappy job- placed antenna under kick panel drivers side door.

I don't believe he did any programming at all, and didn't bother to hook up the dome light feature, as it doesn't work.  Also, what I'm believing to be the control switch wires (BLACK/ white, black) are cut off at the unit (wires are plugged in, but cut).

I've attempted to get into programming mode, however when I go thru the process (turn ignition on, press valet 3 times, turn ignition off, then back on) I'm not getting any chirps to confirm programming mode.  It's not doing anything other than sitting there.  Any ideas?

Thx

Chris

One other thing- for the dome light, if the truck had keyless entry (with dome illumination) how do I wire the system so that the light comes on with disarm?

Thx!

Wanted to clarify something on the no response when programming thing-

When I turn the ignition off (3rd step) I do get the chirps then- however when I turn the ignition back ON I'm not getting any chirps then- ie to confirm what options are enabled/disabled- even when pressing the valet switch to get to the different steps.

Ah, one other thing I just noticed!  I don't seem to be getting any 2 way communication to the LED remote- ie the indicators (puffs of smoke, lock/unlock icon, etc) never change.

I'm really starting to think I could've done a better job with the install just doing it myself...LOL.

Time to go back to CC and get them to fix it, I suppose.  Now I know not to ever have them install anything again!

Chris
