I got a prostart 5000 series automatic car starter w/alarm and when i power it up the alarm is on and it just keeps going off (lights flash siren on). It won't do a reset or initialize the remotes.

I've sent it back and recieved another unit thinking it was deffective but the new unit does the same thing. I checked over the wiring several times and it seems to be correct.

Best thing to do is to disconnect the siren while trying to program the remote control. I don't think the remotes are leanred fromt he factory.
