I have a 1999 Lincoln Navigator I just completed  an installation of a CrimeStopper CS-2011RS Series 111 with remote start. The problem is  the remote start  will turn-over the engine but will not start  and run I went  to a dealer they told me I have to buy a new for $400.00 to be placed in the brain of the alarm for it to work because my keys have a security chip that the computer have to read before my truck can starts....Any advise?

They are full of it !! You can purchase a byapss module that will take care of the problem for about $ 40.00 and you do not loose a key out of the deal either. You do need two active keys to program the module though.

RED wire goes to constant. BLUE wire is your negative out from alarm . WHITE wire is not needed & the plug for the ring that goes around the steering column plugs into the 2 pin socket.

Did you connect up all the necessary ignition iwres ?

IGNITION|blue/lt. green      |+  |ignition harness            |
|  SECOND IGNITION|gray / YELLOW(2nd acc)|+  |ignition harness            |
|        ACCESSORY|RED / black           |+  |ignition harness            |
| SECOND ACCESSORY|BLACK/ green         |+  |ignition harness            |

Also, make sure that the tach wire is programmed to the vehicle. If the starter is dragging, chances are the installer's never programmed the tach wire to the Lincoln.

Both IGN wires have to be connected in order for the RS to work properly. If the RS has a (+) output second IGN wire then all you need to do is hook it straight up to the 2nd igntion wire. If it's a (-) for a relay then you need to use the relay diagram above, but only for the second ignition wire. The primary ignition wire is already a (+) output.. Also, make sure that you learn the tach.

No just one for IGN # 2. IGN # 1 is already a 12 volt + .......unless of course your unit has a 12 volt + 2 IGN output, then you do not need a relay for 2 nd IGN.

Do they make one for an Infiniti? I am trying to do remote start with my car and they are charging me 200 bucks to do it, seems a lil expensive.

IllusiveG20S, what year G20 do you have ?? It's probably a 2000-2002 ? You will need a universal bypass kit where you have to loose a key in order for the remote start to work. It costs about $ 20.00 for one of these, not $ 200 like the dealer says posted_image If the G20 is older than 2000, then you do not need one at all.
