I have a Commando Pro-start 2300 and my question is how do i know when my alarm is recieving power? Is there any way of knowing and also another thing is while installing the remote starter i decided to just turn the key to the on position but i didnt crank it but once i turned it to the on position it started cranking! Can someone tell me what the problem is. Thanks

You should test the wires with a DMM to see where the power is going to ? You may have a wire hooke up wrong ??
