I just installed a auto start alarm in my 2000 chevy silver. an it cranks over but doe's not stay on. Some one please HELP!!!!

A chevy silver? I hope you mean silverado. Did you bypass the anti theft module? The 2000 Silverado has whats called "Passlock II" and will not start without a key unless you use a bypass module. The engine's computer physically will not let the engine run if the key is not in the ignition. You will need a Dei passlock II bypass module part number 555l, like the one seen here>https://www.autotechs.com/items/item191.htm

install a PLDATA unit, very simple install and works like a dream, done quite a few of them
