Hello, I need to know how to install illuminated entry in my 1993 ford mustang. I have a black eagle 4000 security system. The remote wire comeing from the alarm brain that goes to the relay is white, that works the illuminated entry on the system. Also when I instaled the light flash for the arm & disarm, I did not use a diode. The install manual said nothig about useing one, but there was two in the packing box? Should I put one between the wire of the brain and the light's? It works just fine the way I have it now, but when I first turned my parking lights on I heard a small POP. I thought I had smoked somethig, but when I took everything apart, it was all A-OK.    What should I do about the diode?

You shouldnt need a diode here.  Diodes are required for remote start on this vehicle.  As far as the dome supervision you should be able to tie into the BLACK/ blue wire in your kick panel.  This is probaly the same wire you used for the door trigger.  The dome supervision wire coming off of the alarm is more than likely a Negative output and the domelight needs 12 volts to fire.  You need to use a bosch style 12volt 30 amp relay to give you the 12 volts you need.  This relay needs to be wired as such:  86 & 87 = Fused 12 Volt, 85 = negative dome supervision wire from alarm, 30 = output to BLACK/ blue wire.

Be sure to test and Fuse 12 volt lead going to relay
