Hey all,
I could use some help wiring a trunk release. I have a 93 Buick Century and an Alpine SEC-100S alarm. I assume I need a standard relay, but am unsure how to wire it. The alarm outputs are "pulsed" or "latched."
Also, fused or no?

Thanks in advance...

TRNK/HTCH RELEASE|black               |+  |release switch

Wire a SPDT relay like this.

Make sure the AUX output is set to pulsed and make sure you fuse the (+) wire with a 20 amp fuse.

The only relay I have lying around is one of the ones that says 87a but then doesn't have the pin for it. That pin isn't used in the diagram you posted - can I still use that relay?
Thanks again in advance again
