Hi all,

i am new to this board and have a couple questions but 1st some background

I have a 2001 jeep wrangler se model (softtop) has a sound bar and a center console....

i own (when it worked) a ungo ms8300 car alalr, has a double shock sensor, and a proximity sensor

i let soundtrack install it and that was the biggest mistake i have ever made...

the alarm was never mounted properly, and as such, has fallen out at my feet while driving, and now no longer works..

so what alarm should i get i was just gonna install it myself this time, also can i use any of my old sensors? should i get another ungo? seems like most shops arent carrying them anymore.....

since my veh is a manual i cant use remote start (i dont think) and it is a soft top so electric windows wont help lol...

actually can i do remote start? would be nice for the winter.....

sorry this is so long thanks

Aaron

Aaron,

You can install an alarm yourself. If your looking to do the remote start you will need a clifford solaris 4 or 5 or the avantguard 4 or 5.

If you let sound trax (LI,NY) install the alarm i feel for you.
