Has anyone checked out the new https://www.escortstore.com/solo.htm Escort Solo S2. Im wondering how it compares to the Passport 8500. I was about to buy an 8500 when i saw the new Solo S2. In terms of range and accuracy, i wonder how it compares? They claim it uses the same technolony the 8500 used, so id have to assume its just as good, if not better. Does anyone own one, let me know what you think of it. Thanks

I looked at the Solo S2 when i was at best buy the other day, and they have those things all caged up so its hard to see anything. I read somewhere you can still use a power cord for it even though it is 'wireless' and runs off batteries. I want to be able to hard wire it, but i didnt see anywhere for anything to plug into. Does anyone know for sure ?
