I'm using a DEI 530T window module that works perfectly (I just put a curse on my 530T LOL!). The 530T is also set up for one touch operation and windows up when armed. I recently added a DEI 450R to operate some "toys". I've tried connecting the 450R to the RED / white wire of the 530T (window venting) and can not get the windows to vent. Any suggestions? I'd like to use the 450R to roll the windows down if possible. The main alarm is a Code 1100 Elite. I'm using a separate remote for the 450R.

You are holding down the aux button right(it takes about three seconds before the alarm sends a signal)? Just thought that I would check. Also is the ground when armed hooked only to the 530 or is it hooked to a starter kill? If hooked to a starter kill did you make sure to use a diode inline with the ground when armed wire to prevent the starter motor from sending a ground back through to the 450?

I'm not using a starter kill. I've tried several combinations with the 450's remote. If I touch the RED / white wire (from the 530) to a ground the windows vent about 1 inch.

I was going to ask the same thing auex did....are you
sure that you're holding the aux button long enough?
For the 450R, (for example) if you have something on
channel 5, don't you have to hit AUX AUX AUX AUX AUX
and then hold it for a couple of seconds?

Thanks, I'll connect to channel 5 and give it a shot.

I was just using channel 5 as a suggestion on how
the 450r works. I've never even used a 450r, but I've
heard that's how they work...in terms of pushing the
AUX button the correct number of times and then holding
it. Good luck :-)

I've tried all of the suggestions with no luck. Could the 530T be the problem? I can live with it, everything else works just fine.

hmmm, I'm running out of ideas posted_image
Does the 530t still work on its own if you unplug it from the 450r? That would at least let you know if the 530t is hooked up correctly.
