I have installed this on a buick regal 88 and keyless entry works but the remote start would just crank the engine but will not run. I have search the thread about the tach wire not correct and will result in this problem but I am sure my tach wire is right as in the diagram calls for a white wire in the PCM, I measured the tach wire before I connected it, goes from 0-2.4 something volts when running, can somebody verify this for me,also I was thinking of using the wire on one of the injectors but I think it will be pulsing with 12volts,also I have heard of some of this unit being bad from the box, I am not sure please help, thanks

Make sure that you did not plug the Ignition wires into the brain where the accessory wire is supposed to go.

I'm pretty sure I have it wired up correctly anyways I will double check it,thanks for your reply and what voltage should I get from the tach? and If I can use the injector wire would it be the same? I will measure the pulse going to the injector.

The Tach will measure between 2 and 6 volts AC and increase when the accelerator is pressed. The injector is a very good source, make sure you grab the unique color wire.
