The glass would not shatter if there was tint. Would the sensor detect that glass broke?

Im not sure, im no alarm expert, but from what i have read and understand, if i come up to your car and hit the window with something, even if it doesnt break, the detector can still pick up the sound of the impact, for example one thing i was reading said to take a quarter and hit your window with it, the alarm should 'hear' that impact even though it didnt break, and the alarm will sound.  Its and audo sensor that senses certain sound frequencies.  So basically - it will still work.
