Well I asked this question earlier but didn't get any responses, so let me re-phrase. Can anyone recommend a good siren to buy that has more unique arm/disarm tones? I'd kinda like to have one that sounds different than the generic dei one I've got now and everyone else in the area seems to have. I've heard some Lexus ones that sound pretty cool.

Yea, everyone pretty much has that same 6-tone siren. I want to know where they get the ones that you see in the movies sometimes that sound more like a laser gun rather than a siren chirp when the arm/disarm. ------------- Q: What's the best nation in the world?

different manufacturers use different sirens, and if you want a siren out of a lexus, go to the dealer, you may be able to purchase one...
I have a super old school Clifford siren and 4 or 5 pain generator backup sirens in my car, and it is more than unique when it goes off, it is actually painful to be near...but the arm/disarm is alot different than the typical 514N siren used in sooo many alarms today...

Thanks for the replies. I think Clifford now has some sirens you can actually choose your tones now, but only through the unit programming. Actually I recall once riding in a friends car that had an Alpine alarm and it was different than DEI. Not sure if it was an Alpine unit feature or a custom job, but he had it rigged to where he could flip a switch and the siren would blare whenever you wanted. I read a post somewhere that Code-Alarm sounded pretty cool too, but it doesn't seem like there's too many places that carry that line.
