Hello everyone. I finished installing my alpine and everything waorks perfect. After everything was don , I trying to install the driver's priority door unlock. I opened the door panel on the driver's side and found a harness for the door lock with five wires. I tried to connect the Alpine Blue wire to each of the wires but it didn't work. I tested the wires and it has two wires the has constant 12VOLTS and figured out that those are the lock and unlock wires for negative door locks. However, when I connected the Alpine Blue wire to the unlock wire from the harness, it unlock all the doors. I tried it with the other wires and still nothing happened. The alarm is already programed to priority door lock.
Do I have to connect it to the main actuator of the driver's side door lock? It 's hard to reach the actuator. What should I do? It also has an option of PRIORITY UL POLARITY (negative and positive). What does this mean?

In order to do the Priority door lock, you will have to cut the Unlock wire from the driver's door actuator. You don't have to cut it from the door actuator and all you have to do is follow the wiring harness and find the driver's door actuator and cut the unlock wire. You will have to hook up a relay with the blue wire. If you tried to cut the unlock wire from the relay module and it unlocks all the doors because from the relay module it already connected to all the unlock wire for all the doors.
Good luck
