I'm confused on this diagram. according to techsoft, there is no 2nd ign, and the starter is RED / grey. Also, what bypass you recommend for this car? 555u? or is there one specifically for it? thanks

although i would never doubt anything jeff has to say. my sources agree with nycoroner. and says that it uses a 555u

All my information is only for reference, if there is any doubt, please use your head and use a DMM and make sure you double check all connections. Never 100 % believe what anyone here says unless you have checked with your own vehicle and have tested the actual wire. I too have the color code for the starter as being a RED / GREY, but my other two sources tell me that it is a RED / BLUE ??

You are absolutely right, Jeff, however sometimes newer installers (like we all once were) will chase after a phantom wire and spend all day trying to look for it. I was not contradicting you, simply trying to determine the most accurate info (I'm about to do one of these for my g/f) PS: Accordind to DEI you could also use a 555b on this guy. Chris
