I have a aftermarket alarm installed in my truck, my problem is that the alarm is working propertly (if alarm is activate and i try to open the door my headlights flash etc etc) but the siren dosent sound.

what do i have to change?????

the siren speaker?????? or whatever its called?

any help is aprecciated

could be the siren itself, the siren ground, or the siren output on from the alarm brain. Any one of these items would cause the siren to not work. If you are not familiar with the above take your car back to to where it was installed and have them check it out for you.

most siren outputs have a fuse in line. check it first. should be close to the brain.\\


if you cant find the fuse, use a meter to check the red wire at the siren. if it shows 12v and it doesnt sound, then replace it.

start there and let us know what you find out.

i checked it out today and it was the siren after all, i replaced it with another one and everything is woriking fine
