I'm installing a 554t . i have already located the wire for the trunk switch , now i need to know which wire connects to the alarm to that wire. is it the blue from the 12 pin harness? and the hood is the gray wire? just verifying with you all. will the trunk and the hood be indicated in the tranceiver separately ?

i think you meant RED / white from the 12 pin harness(primary)85-RED / white
86+30-12volt constant fuse
87-trunk wire(+)
yes the hood is gray- check to see if your car might have stock hood trigger.
the hood indicator should indicate, but the trunk i am not sure. i didnt pay attention on this unit, but the viper 790, it didnt indicate unless the alarm trigger when you open the trunk manually.

i think that you miss understood what i meant but i wasn't too clear either. I meant the trunk trigger wire . i'm not hooking it up for trunk release . i already have the trigger wire for the trunk but i need to know which wire from the 12 pin primary harness gets connected to the trunk trigger wire . is it the blue that says (-)multiplex output zone 4 ? this is the only wire that i'm seeing that can be connected to the trunk . and if it is will the trunk be displayed when open on the transceiver ?
will the hood pin switch wire (gray) will show up in the transceiver when the hood is open ?

I'm pretty sure that the LCD remote will show both the hood and trunk, but only if triggered.
