I was looking at the install manual for the Hornet 554T and I am confused about the Relay Satellite Key Switch Interface. What purpose does it serve and is it neccessary that I connect them?

I asusme your looking at page 14 of the install manual. The HEAVY GAUGE RELAY SATELLITE wires (RED, RED, PINK, ORANGE, PURPLE, and PINK/WHITE) are the outputs of the remote start relays. They basically provide power to the vehicle's accessory, ignition, and starter when the vehicle is remote started.

If you don't hook em up, you don't have remote start.

The relays have a 5 pin ribbon harness connected to them, which plugs into the alarm brain. These wires are the relay control wires.
