thank god this message board is here, lots of great help

ALARM: Clifford Matrix RS III

TRUCK: 2000 Ford Superduty Diesel

QUESTION:

I am up to the point i need to wire the wait to start into the truck. I know I need to use a diode. Does the diode go into the wire from the alarm and if so does the band on the diode go toward or away from the alarm. Thanks for your time

I'd have to say band side to the alarm.  "no output" on the band side toward the alarm, and the(-) signal is going toward the alarm.

basically what he said you have make the band actually face the wait to start light in a negative setup the band has to be connected to the wire which is throwing the negatice signal and in possitive the band is away from possitve signal.
