I tryin to install an alarm in a 95 isuzu rodeo.The rodeo has factory alarm already installed in it.I pulled up the wiring diagram but doesn't metion anything about it.So, is there a way to bypass it or use it to my advantage.

no, it's a alarm alright.It has a siren ,hood pin switch and some relays.
you said it has a siren. does it look like an aftermarket siren?? most factory alarms use the horn not a siren. look under the drivers dash or behind the glove box and see if you might have an aftermarket add-on type alarm.
let me know what you find out......

if was installed at the dealership, then he should be able to unplug it. if it was a true factory alarm it would have been wired in at the time the car was made and dealer would not be able to install it. some dealer do carry alarms with the same name as the car, however they are still considered aftermarket.

I looked under the dash and I didn't see anything.I saw some alarm relays and tried to trace them.I ended under the drivers seat. There's a little box under that seat.It has an aftermarket siren and it also has it's own on and off switch.So, you can cut the alarm off and on.The reason why I'm taking it out because it goes off on it's own.I tried to contact the dealership where he got the truck from(georgia)but they act dumb founded.
i would turn it off and start from there.
