Car: RSX Type S

I have the clifford matrix rs3. (2 way pager) I have some specific questions.

I have bought additional piezo sirens i want to hook up with the main alarm.

1. If I hook up 3 of these additional sirens, is it true the volume of all the sirens go down since it's drawing from the same source of power?

2. I also have the self powered backup siren (works off key). Does this go off at the same time the main siren goes off (when alarm is triggered) so in essence I hear 2 alarms? Then when I de-activate the alarm, both turn off? Or does the backup only go off if the main alarm is cut? I noticed on the back up siren, there are 4 wires (power/ground/activate wire/deactivate wire)

3. I have the DEI 530T window module. Can one touch ONLY work from the driver's side or can I make it so it works for both the driver and passenger side?

4. Do I need to use harness 2? I heard that I would still need to wire the power and have the harness plugged in, but just cut all the other wires.. is this true?

Thanks in advance for any help!!

1. No, if you use a relay for the extra sirens you will loose no volume

2. You can hook it up so that it will be like the RS3 alarm siren

3. One touch can be done for both windows

4. If there is a harness that doesn't use any wires and does not loop back into itself, you do not need to have the harness plugged in.

Wow, thanks for the quick response!   I have some additional followup questions - i would appreciate any help..  thank you.

1. Great, just what I wanted to hear..   where are these sirens hooked up?  In series with the siren that comes w/ the alarm or some other part of the alarm?

2. Can you clarify this a bit more please or point me in the right place where I can find this out?

3. How can this be done?  Does that mean the wires from the passenger and driver side are both tapped to accomplish this?

Thanks again..

1. Use the output of the alarm for the one siren and hook up the other wires as per diagram.( Use this diagram only if your siren output is a (+) output to the siren. You can attach as many sirens as you wish to output 30 of this relay.

2. Not familiar with the brand that you use, but the ones that I have used in the past have a power, ground, trigger and deactivate wire. The trigger wire goes to the alarm siren output and the deactivate wire goes to the disarm wire

3.Yes, you must grab the window wires at the driver's switch ( master switch ) and hook up the up/down wires. The activation wire for the system operates both windows with a single touch.

1. Understood - thanks..

2. Sounds like what I have as well.

3. I don't think I was clear.. let me clarify myself - what I meant was doing one touch ability from both the passenger side control AND the driver side control.. is that possible?

Thanks again..
