I had bought a 1997 dodge interpid and it has a remote starter on it i have no idea what kind it is. My problem is that when i try to use the remote starter it does not work it just clicks what sounds to be at the starter the lights flash when i hit the button but it just wont start and i can not start it with the key either. What could be the problem on why this is not working it was working ok on friday and now it wont start at all is there something i can do to disable this so i can start my car. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

It is hard to say what the problem is from the information you have provided. I would just have to take a look at the unit itself and it swiring to make sure everything looked ok. Check the inline fuses, and check to see if there is a relay installed on the starter wire that would interupt the starter from grinding when the key was turned to crank while the car was running by the remote starter. This would be an explaination why you couldnt start the car with the key after trying to start the car. That is if the remote starter unit thought it had successfully started the car even though it hadnt, and remained on.
Like I said you will just have to investigate. So if you can go take a closer look at it and post any further details, we could provide more help.
