Looking at the installation and owners manuals; Looks like the same thing, the installation manual explains a little more/detail-what wires to find, component location, VATS. Tells you about which vehicles need transponder bypass etc. New style remote(I like the RS3 remote better). Same thing I guess...

Has built in turbo timer, rear defroster output and restyled remotes that aren't supposed to break so easy. Looks like a smaller relay pack is coming too, although I don't know if it will be in the 3.5 yet. Brain shape/plug arrangement will change too.

They are taking preorders now for the Viper 791XV/Matrix RSX3.5 available Aug. 25-Sept. 5.
