I am having a difficult time trying to locate the door pin wire(s) on a 2000 Buick LeSabre. I know that I am looking for a Gray and Gray/Black wire but I can't seem to locate it. I pulled the door panel and I checked in the wire harness that runs to the rear of the car next to the drivers door but I can't seem to find what I am looking for. Can anyone help me?

True door trigger is inside each door, at the door module. Yes, this would mean going into all FOUR doors; not a great amount of fun.

The underdash courtesy light will work, but it is affected by the car's domelight delay, and furthermore, the interior lights don't come in in the daytime---only when it's dark outside. So if someone broke into the car during the day, the alarm wouldn't go off.

What you want to do is get Audiovox's part # AS-GMDTI. It connects to the LeSabre's databus wire, and gives you a true door trigger, without the trouble of going into the doors.
