I'm installing a DA-1005 Combo alarm onto a 2000 Toyota Avalon. Does anyone know of an easier location to tap the brake switch wire? I've tried a number of angles, but with no success. Other info. leads me toward having to disassemble the entire brake pedal assembly, which I'm trying to avoid. I'm hoping that someone knows where that RED / blue wire passes thru a junction or connector elsewhere in the car. Thanks.

GREEN / WHITE in the driver's kick. Positive parking lights is green in the same plug.
As you have probably found, going right to the brake switch usually sucks.

I looked for the GREEN / WHITE wire in the drivers kick panel, the same plug as the green+ parking lights. Doesn't exist. I tested the other wires in that same plug, but nothng. Any other thoughts? Just trying to keep my hassle to a minimum. Thanks.

also,if you can find the brake wire color from the brake light itself. you can find it in a bundle of wires that leads up to the driver kick. hope it helps.....
