I just purchased a Clifford Solaris alarm w/ remote start. I was wondering if I have to worry about bypassing or disconnecting the keyless entry with panic button factory system. I noticed on the wiring diagram on the forum for example:

Notes

For keyless entry upgrade to an alarm, Arm = ORANGE / Black (+), Disarm(+) = Dark Blue, Sense = Pink/Purple(+), all located in driver's door jamb.

Im not sure I understand this and can I use these wires in conjunction with the door locks instead of hooking up the door lock/interior light wires separately because the factory keyless already makes the interior light come on when I use the keyless?

Any other tips would be appreciated. The vehicle is a 1999 dodge durango w/keyless entry and NO transponder key just regular black key.

Two more questiion, what does sense= pink/purple mean and also what is HVAC1 and HVAC2?
