ok ive been doing this for a bit...on and off...got tired and brother took up the garage so its been a while before i could finish it.

i put the remote starter in it works great...the power door locks i was told i could "5 wire" (which i have no idea what that is even after looking at the diagram on this site...) secondly my locks require a "double pulse" i believe it was called.  i want to be able to have it set up like my factory alarm with a single pulse doing my door..another pulse doing passenger door...and two quick pulses doing the rear doors.

what do i do?...

by the way its a meridian package if that changes anything.  thanks

-Mike

you can get negative triggers in side the srivers door but on the 2k3 max it is a pain getting the wires through the door boot. but they are negative but five wire is the easy way out even though you dont know how to do it. but to me it is easier to go in the door you have to drill a hole under the door boot clip so you can get the wires in.

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.

Power Lock ORANGE / black  -  driver door module
Power Unlock  ORANGE / blue  -  driver door module
  • Meter these wires while turning the key in the driver door key cylinder.
  • Unlock requires a double pulse.
  • Door Trigger : Find lt. green for the driver door in pin 1, RED / blue for the passenger front door in pin 2, and RED / white for the rear doors in pin 3. Use all three wires and diode isolate each.
  • The SECU (Smart Entrance Control Unit) is located to the passenger side of the steering column.

what about the horn trigger...

according to the schematics it should be the GREEN / WHITE wire that is in the ignition harness...

however sending a ground to it does nothing to activate the horn...and neither does sending a positive feed.

i have the brown wire from my main harness of the Rs3 hooked up which is supposed to go to horn honk blase blah.

am i grabbing the right wire?  and which wire do i have to grab to do the trunk (i know i have to wire in a relay to give me a high voltage ground)
