I want to use a mercury switch instead of a pin switch to alarm if hood is opened, can someone please a recommed a switch and a source that I can use for this purpose.

check out this website  https://autotoys.com they have all the switches and just about anything you can imagine for the 12 volt industry.posted_image

Hey Gentleman,

I realize that most stores sell them but if you have a DEI or Clifford dealer in your neighborhood then simply ask for a mercury switch part number 8610.  posted_image
