I have a 97 saturn sc2, and i got the wiring diagram, and know the factory disable wire, but my question is can i just disable the alarm by programming ti to disable using the factroy remote, or do i have to ground out that factroy disarm wire, if so where the heck is it, everyone says rear driver panel, were? before or after the driver door. Someone suggested i connect the factory disarm wire to the unlock wire on my autopage 305 alarm, will this work?

Your car does not have a factory disarm wire. The only way to disarm it is to use the factory remote. You can install a remote start on the vehicle and interupt the pink ignition wire going to the factory alarm. The car will then start without setting off the alarm. You would still need to use the factory remote to lock and unlock though. What exactly are you installing? Alarm, remote start, both?
It might be possible to turn it off...call a Saturn dealer.

I am installing an Autopage rf-305 alarm with the keyless entry and starter kill.

You can't integrate the two, unless you want to carry both remotes and disarm both before getting in. As far as just not arming the factory alarm...not possible, it passive arms (arms itself).

Well i decide to test my factory alarm and it only arms when i press the lock button on the transmitter, if i just lock the doors by hitting the power lock button on the door, or use my keys, it just locks, the car does not automatically arm at all unless i make it do so, there is a starter kill on it but is only active if you are the vehical, and then open the door with you key and try to start it, Can i just not use the alarm anymore, and it shouldn't intefere witht he aftermarket alarm

My mother has the same car. Do you have your manual? I believe it says it passive arms after 20 minutes.

Well i installed the alarm and so far no problems with the factory alarm i just put the factory keyless remote in a desk drawer and plan on not using it, my car only arms when i hit the lock button on the remote, it never locks or arms it self when i just lock the doors manually or using the power locks.

Or if you're really worried about it, leave the factory remote in the glove box, just in case it somehow arms all by itself one day.
