I got a
Viper 790vx 2 way pager with;
Mini Piezo Siren
Backup Battery
Invisibeam® Field Disturbance Sensor
Shock Sensor
Ok this thing is so sensitive its insane. I think i got like 25 warnings today its driving me nuts. Everytime a truck goes by my car or even a louder car for that fact it will send a warn and beep. I need to do some testing to see if its the shock (is it adjustable?) or the invisibeam. The problem is though I dont know how to adjust any of these items since i was not given any instructions. Im gonna go by tommorow or monday but it would be nice if i could fix it some myself.
Also if its the Invisibeam® Field Disturbance Sensor causing this and i cant get it adjusted so it works to my liking. Is the audio sensor the same size as the invisibeam? I could just install it in the same location which would be nice and easy.
My vehicle if anyone is interested.

ok the shock sensor has a small philips head screw on one side of it to adjust it just simply turn it counter clock wize but test that first, find the proximity detector (invisibeam). and disconnect it. unplug it and then get out close the doors and arm the system. then tap the pillar between the front door and the back door or back seet (tap it) if you get nothing hit a little harderand if you get a warn away then thats good wait a second and than tap hard twice one after the other. if the alarm goes off than the shock sensor is fine. if not than the adjustment is too low turn it up and then test again.
after that is good
plug the field disturbance sensor back in and open your windows. get out and arm the systems. wait a minute dont move,. wave your hand in front of the window. if the alarm sound that it is way to sensitive. there is two adjustments on top of the proximity right next to it and one that says factory adjustment. dont touch that one., remove the black rubber covering over the hole. on the second hole closes to the side and lower that it is the over all adjustment knob and the first hole is for the adjustment between inside and outside. adjust the second hole first and after each adjustment test by doing the wave test with windows open after arming the system and waiting a minute or like 25 secs for it to actually arm., there you go any help email me.

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.
one more question can you not turn off the warn away but have the alert not sent to the pager that would work out well.
if your alarm go on when a truck goes by that is the shock sensor(its too sensitive)find him and try to disconect it.
if now its ok reconect him and try to adjust it . it could be a dual shock sensor!
