I recently installed an Excalibur ATV1000 in a 2001 Chevy Impala. After bieng armed for a few minutes, it constantly falses showing a trunk zone code upon disarm. I used the trunk wire going to the BCM. Any suggestions?

Yes.
Go to the trunk light. One of the wires there is orange---this is constant power.
The problem is that after the BCM goes to sleep (20 minutes), the orange constant wire turns into a ground. Go ahead and test if you want---leave the trunk open, don't touch ANY buttons on the car, then come back after a half hour and test the orange wire.
So anway, like I said, that wire turns into a ground. And what is a light bulb filament? Just a tiny piece of metal wire, right? So this ground flows through the bulb, and then there is a ground on the RED / black wire too.....and your alarm goes off.
The solution is to cut the orange wire in half at the light, and wire a diode inline so that ONLY positive current can make its way to the lightbulb.
