Ok i hooked ym shock sensor up to my alarm, armed it, and waited 5 min then lightly lappted it, and not reaction, i then adjusted the sensitivity to max, and did the same thing again, and till no response, there two leds on the shock sensor and neither one is lit, is there a way to test my shock sensor to see if it works, i.e. hoot it up to a 12volt battery to see if it powers up, i need to find out if its my shock sensor that faulkty or the alarm brain, because during disarm, the red wire coming from the alarm sensor plug, shows abvout 5 volts, but drops to 0 when the alrm is active.

Its a 4 wire dual stage autopage shock sensor, any suggestions.
