1994/95 ford probe factory alarm system keeps going off ,found faulty switch on rear of drivers door key barrel

also replaced faulty key barrel,worked ok for  1 month then started the same fault vehicle sits in garage unlocked at 5pm and alarm triggers about  3am ,if anyone has any  suggestions!.

 reguards alan .......new zealand.

sounds like you have a short somewhere else..
i would check all the switches.

when you use the key does that turn on the alarm???
