I see a lot of the same "looking" after market door locks actuators, on the internet. the prices range anywere from about $5 up to $25. They dont really say who makes them. Is there really a difference between the locks them selfs. I no that question might be hard to answer unless you handle them all. I do know you "get what you pay for" (sometimes, and other they sell them that cheap). My thing is.... that im getting back into car alarms, and I want to give the costumer the BEST that I can and at the same time make money doing it. So these cheap locks that I see are worth it or not. Were do most of you guys go to buy your after maket locks.
Thanks Kyle

MICRO alarms makes really good ones at a cheap price, and they have a waranty. If you are opening your own shop, MICRO has lots of equipment at really good prices. They have everything from connectors (3m) to mobile video to alarms. They can supply small shops and are very reliable. Call and talk to Bobby Huizar....he is my sales rep. and I have had no problems with anything there. Good luck, Phill McCrank ------------- Phill Bowen

I agree with Phill! I too use Micro for tons of stuff.
The lock kits they sell used to be difficult to install because the actuator wires were not colored to the harness but, now they are. I have never had any returns for the locks. ever!
Fast too, at least where I am. I can call in a order by 3pm and it will be at the door by 12 noon the next day. And that's regular shipping too. And if you ever need any help there great too.
