I have a Commando 2 door central locking system installed and working fine.

When I connect the lock/unlock outputs of my alarm to the inputs on the central locking module, the central locking stops working.  I can lock or unlock both doors with the alarm but cannot lock one door with the other.  Furthermore, if the 2 locks are in opposite positions, then the alarm won't lock or unlock the doors at all.  Is this normal?

Does a 5 wire actuator act just like a 2 wire actuator if you ground the other 3 leads?

Thanks for the help.
