I've got a remote start installed but I'm having all kinds of problems getting past the Passlock I system.  I have a module designed to do this, but it has DIP switches. :x  The closest setting to my resistance (3.83) is 0.  The next closest is 26..... do they really think this gets close enough?  Right now I'm pissed that I got a POS with DIP switches instead of a auto-sensing one.

Is there anything I can check in hopes of getting this one to work?  I hate to be out the $$ for it and there's no place to get one locally so I'm w/o a car until I can get it to work.

Thanks for any help.

I should add that I have a ribbon with 3 wires (Black, Black, and BLACK/ White), they go through a box and come out White, Black, and Yellow.  The instructions say they may be either color, but they don't mention which ones I need to hook into.  Does it matter?

in addition to the dip switches your module should have a small potentiometer to fine tune to the correct ohms.  I've never seen one that doesn't, and it should come with a manual that tells you where the wires go.

The manual is here: https://www.slickcar.com/manuals/autopassmanual.pdf

I've hooked all the wires up per the manual and my mistake earlier was I wasn't reading the ohms in thousands. posted_image

I end up with 4.040K and I can set the DIP switches within 10 of that...... but it still doesn't work. :(

The only thing I can think of is I don't have the correct bulb test wire.....there are 3 small black wires and I have the one that is highest up and closest to the 12V constant red wires.
