When I start the car and press the valet switch to to learn the signal it's not light in the LED

You are not going to be able to learn tach on a DC 12V signal. Tach is a fluctuating AC signal that increases as the vehicles RPMs increase.
Use the Tach wire as indicated below or change the unit to use voltage sensing.
| ITEM | WIRE COLOR |POL| WIRE LOCATION |
| 12V|red |+ |ignition harness |
| STARTER|yellow or purple |+ |ignition harness |
| IGNITION|pink |+ |ignition harness |
| ACCESSORY|orange |+ |ignition harness |
| POWER LOCK|lt. blue |+ |driver door harness |
| POWER UNLOCK|blk/white |+ |driver door harness |
| PARKING LIGHTS +|brown | |switch or fuse panel |
| HEADLIGHTS|yellow |+ |at switch |
| DOOR TRIGGER|white |- |under dash area |
| TACHOMETER|PURPLE / white | |dist. or ECM *1 |
| BRAKE WIRE|white |+ |at brake pedal switch |
| HORN TRIGGER|black |- |at column |
| WIPERS|purple | |steering column |
| LF WINDOW UP/DN|dk. blue - brown |A |at drivers door switch |
| RF WINDOW UP/DN|blu/wht - tan |A | |
| LR WINDOW UP/DN| | | |
| RR WINDOW UP/DN| | | |
Notes:
*1 4-wire harness exiting back of distributor heading towards pass. side or pull glove box and ECM is silver box with two plugs. Diesel wait to start wire is dk. blue (+) located at the instrument cluster.
You might also want to progarm your remote start to wait before start to allow for your glow plug to have affect.
