Well, here's my problem.

I previously had a Viper 800esp with a 551T remote start system. Now I got a Hornet 554t, and when i hooked up the remote start relays to the alarm module, I used previous lines from the 551T. All the connections and cables are exactly the same for both remote start relays. The only thing it does is start up the accessory line, so it will do that 3 times. All the lines are connected correctly, and I can't seem to figure out what seems to be the problem. The hood pin cable is not even connected  so I know that isn't the problem. When I had the original setup, it worked perfect fine. So I don't even know what the problem could be. Anyone have any suggestions?

Go back over all your old connections, just to make sure that they are connected. Also, check to make sure that the brain is sending the correct singal to the relay back (the pink, purple, and orange wires in the remote start ribbon should send a negitive (-) singal). After that then check and make sure that the relays are sending 12volts (+) out of the relays. One other thing you can check is that all your relays are clicking, one could be bad and need replaced.

Man, just go back over all of the connections like vaderfop said. Personally, if it were my vehicle..I would have removed everything that was associated with the old alarm before even unboxing the new one..thats just how I am tho :)

As a rule of thumb...LOOK FOR THE SIMPLE STUFF..check your fuses, check your connections etc...90 percent of the time, its something simple that you are just overlookn.

What kind of car? Did you just transfer wiring harnesses or did you redo the connections?

Nevermind. Turns out it was the starter kill that is preventing it from starting. Would I have to install another relay to bypass the starter kill ? It's for a 2000 Civic Si.
