I installed a code alarm with keyless entry. I have power windows and locks but not keyless entry. The alarm part works fine but i can only get the keyless entry to work for one door. I tried wiring each door seperate and the one not wired wouldnt work. Then i wired them both up assuming i dont have a master door and only one side worked again. This is all being done in a 2001 v-6 ext. cab tacoma. Any ideas what the problem could be? The installers even couldnt come up with any idea.

I believe the lock/unlock wires are on the driver's kick panel on the 12 pin connector, the wires should be RED / white for lock and RED / yellow for unlock. Also, make sure to test with the doors closed.

Here is the information for your vehicle:

|       POWER LOCK|gray *1             |- |white plug near fusebox     |
|     POWER UNLOCK|purple *1           |- |white plug near fusebox

*1 These wires will test only by operating the key in the passenger door lock cylinder, not the rocker switch on the door.
