wonderin' if anyone knows why the remote doesn't lock the doors on the maxima when the interior lights are on? I installed a viper 300 esp in it. senerio is when you shut off ignition, get out, then close doors, and arm, the locks do not work. It only locks when the interior lights are off. I'd have to use the key to lock, then the lights go out. But unlock is fine.

I believe it worked when first installed several months ago, unless brain is bad?

it probably has a safety switch wired in so you can't accidently lock the door while its open and close it, inadvertantly locking yourself out, kinda the same on hondas.
