What is the best/easy to install passlock moduals.I have been using a style with DIP switches and recently removed a system that wired in the same as the brand I have been using however there were no dip switches. The brand was DEI 555 ???any help will be helpful.Also has anyone been doing SATURN ION's? just wondering if there is a specific range of resistors that will be needed for gettingaround that version (although not really a passlock ) system. Thanks for your help. If you need specific ino mail me back. I am using ASTROSTART 1105 system.

used the pldata heaps of times, it works great

Try this
pldata bypass unit

It's really easy to hook up, it learns the resistance and hooks up directly to the diagnostic connector in the vehicle.

Yeah, DIP switches are stupid. DEI's 555L is good. Audiovox's AS-GM4 works just as well; that's what I use.

As for the Ion, I did an entire writeup on the car. Use the search feature and you will find it.
