Has anyone come across hooking up the door trigger input to the interior light and the interior light being one of those ones that fade out and turn on ever time the ignition is turned off.
I am finding that the alarm is going off everytime you activate and then deactivate the remote start.

Do i have to directly to the door pins and use diodes or is there something else i can do????

thanks

truck model and alarm model?

move the trigger wire to the proper point and or delay the amount of time the system takes before it actually starts looking at it's inputs.

use a diode to limit the resistance if the door trigger is negative trigger put the diodes cathode side towards the door trigger. if it is positive trigger then reverse the diode. this should take care of the alarm reading the domelight delay.

Is your factory alarm going off or is it an aftermarket unit?
