I have a 97 Pont. Grand Am that I bought used. It has some kind of security system that was put in that makes a ticking noise inside the dash and makes the dome light blink on and off if it is not disabled by pressing the button on the keychain before opening a car door. Is there any way to disable this?? Thanks.

up under the dash on the drivers side you will find a black box about 5" x 6" x 1" it will have several wires going into it but two of the wires should have fuses on them possibly a red wire and a white wire pull the fuses from this box and check to see if your problem has been solved.
