I have Nissan Altima 97 with remote keyless starter. I don't know  much information about starter. It used to work fine and when I put my foot on brake it used to turn off, now it doesn't. What could be the problem and how to fix it?

You might have a loose wire connection somewhere, or a faulty relay, also try checking your brake lights to see if they are all working(that might affect it)

Just to add to what Sam said, the first place I would check is the brake wire. Check this connection first to see if you accidentally kicked the wire loose or if the connection came off.

look above the brake in the car you will see a harness connected to the switch behind the petal.that is where your brake inputto the remote start should be check to see if you have voltage on that wire when the brake is pressed this will read 12 volts on a meter only when brake is applied. Whoever put that remote starter in probably used t taps when conecting wires these over time will get lose and eventually fail.I would bet that is the case with your car.
