Hey guys, I got a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire Gt and A Hornet 554t, I am trying to figure out a way to make the remote start turn it self off when the alarm is triggered and also have the windows roll up at the same time. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks

Why would you want the remote start to activate when the alarm is set?

Why wouldn't you? Yest the remote start will keep the car from being drivin off but what about his radio, cell phone, cd's, and etc.... The alarm should be armed when remote started. The aux sensors should just turn off.

What about the H3/1 wire? This sends a rearm signal to the factory alarm when "the remote start is shut down". Since 75%+ of the time the remote start will not be turned off by remote you could live with the windows going up during those situations. Hopefully you haven't used this wire.

Sorry looked through the manuals and didn't see anything about the alarm functioning like normal when remote started (minus shock sensor of course). I think it's just one of those things that some alarms do and some don't.

Good luck
p.s. remember to program the h3/1 wire.
