Can someone tell me how to wake up the gem in a 2003 ford explorer so the doorswill unlock?
Also will the 555F work for remote start or do i need the 555U?

Hey mobiletoys2002,
Seeing that you're asking about a bypass I'll assume you're installing a remote starter. An easy way to wake the GEM is to set the doorlock output to double pulse and use the first pulse to trigg the ignition on momentarily (if you have external relays then it's a snap). This can also be done by trigging the door pinswitch wire (usually yellow/black in driver's kick).
All Fords keys with a blue and silver crest are crypto and require a 555U.
