I bought the GMDL1 and the Crimestopper alarm CS-882 OEM, it uses the factory remotes.

My question do I still need to wire to the door locks or can wire just to the GMDL1

Here are the wires from the CS-882

Positive Lock Motor Input --yellow/black

Positive Unlock Motor Input --blue/black

Lock Switch Input-- GREEN / WHITE

Unlock Switch Input --RED / white

Thanks

Those wires you listed above are actually inputs from the car which tell the unit what you want it to do. Since you are using the factory remotes, when you press the lock button, that needs to tell the alarm to arm itself, so you need to find a lock signal on the trailblazer. The same goes for disarming, so you need the unlock signal from the truck. However, I am not sure of the color of the wires that you need to grab to accomplich this since I have never added an alarm on to a vehicle that uses databus doorlocks like the trailblazer does. I dont want to tell you to just start testing wires either since my guess is that you may need to go into the door, or underneath the rear seat, so I figure someone out there could tell you which wires to grab and where.

You should look in your manual to see which of those wires you need to hook up. My guess is that you would only need either the moter wires or the switch wires, and not both, but I would have to read the manual to see what it requires.

Good luck
