the alarm has a 4 wire shock sensor. the grren wire comes from the alarm and is just loose. the sensor has a green wire that is attched to the blue neg trigger wire. if i cut the one green and connect it to the other grenn, will it give me a pre-warn chirp??/

You should already have a pre-warn chirp unless it is adjusted improperly. The shock sensor will give a short pulse on the blue wire during a light hit and a long pulse on the blue wire if its a bigger hit. The alarm knows the difference between a short pulse and a long pulse.

The loose green wire is for adding other sensors and works the same way. It can be used for a dual stage motion sensor among other things.

Also, make sure the end of the harness with the loose green wire is plugged into the alarm and not the shock sensor. Reversing the harness will eliminate pre-warn.
