Can you also send be install info including how to wire in this system?I have been using DIP switches and this is very time consuming. How reliable are they? What other systems do you recommend? Thanks again for your help!!

I stopped using the dipswitches over 3 years ago. You can get the 555L from DEI. The PLData from www.bypasskits.com works too and is easier to install. Manuals are included with them. The 555L wires in the same way as the dip switch pieces, but you just start the car once or twice after installing it and it learns the code automatically.

4 wires:
power, ground, ground when running,
Fourth wire goes to the purple wire in the cars OBDII plug.
I've never used one, but many others here have. My shop uses the DEI stuff.

You can download the manual at www.bypasskit.com
